About Becky

I have had 13 years of experience as a successful teacher of secondary Design Technology in Wigan and Leyland. I left the classroom in July 2023 to pursue Fred and Pearl full time but my passion for teaching remains.

My sessions are designed to be enjoyable, engaging and promote discussions around positive mental health.

Feedback

“The students absolutely loved meeting Becky today and hearing all about Fred & Pearl. They had lots of questions about raising money for charity and how she makes her rainbows, and loved telling her all about the products they’ve been making as part of their enterprise project. Thanks so much Becky for a wonderful morning and for being so kind and patient with our students. They are super proud of their creations!”

"All of the learners could ask questions as to why and how the business was set up. They were engaged and excited. The children all accessed the activity. They used cross curricular links to Maths, including measuring, DT including designing and creating. They were so excited on the lead up to the session and thoroughly enjoyed a hands on task."
